Who Is Idun

First and foremost, Idun Consulting Company is currently comprised of one consultant: me, Jeffrey M Glazer. My experience and education make me uniquely qualified to assist small business owners develop comprehensive and integrated strategies and solutions. I have worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in various analysis and implementation capacities. I have an undergraduate business degree from the University of Toledo with a concentration in Operations Management and Information Technology. I have a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing, from University of Akron. I received my Juris Doctor, with a concentration in Intellectual Property, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Much like small business owners, I have experience in virtually every facet of business. I have worked in IT, human resources, marketing, sales, and finance. Thus, I have a unique perspective on the interactions and relationships between each of these areas. For the small business owner this means that I can recommend and implement solutions that solve multiple problems at once. Unlike large corporations which can afford to compartmentalize operations, small companies rarely have just a human resouces problem (for example, staffing). More likely the problem facing the small business is multi-faceted, such as implementing scheduling software that tracks employee trends and costs and makes staffing suggestions based on algorithms that derive optimum levels. Even more particularly, small businesses are faced with financial contstraints that demand that any solution be flexible, efficient, and cost-effective.

Perhaps more interestingly, Idun is a Norse Goddess. She is the goddess of youth and spring and rejuvenation and immortality. She existed to make the Norse gods immortal which she did through the golden apples that she carried with her. You can learn more about her here.
